Some people call it a mini-trampoline. It is and it isn't. Actually it is more correctly called a rebounder and it is a genuine piece of exercise equipment. The concept of rebounding was originally developed by a man named Al Carter who was by profession a trampolinist. He couldn't understand why he was so totally fit when the only "exercising" he did was jumping on a trampoline. His physically fit friends lifted weights, ran and rode bicycles. How could he be just as fit? When he stopped to analyze what was actually happening to his body while jumping on a trampoline it all started to make sense. When coming down on the trampoline gravitational force pressed down on his entire body. In response every cell in his body (organ, tissue and muscle), resisted this downward force by contracting. When he rebounded, or bounced back up, every cell in his body was relieved of this pressure and relaxed. How do you build tone and strength? You do so through repetitive contraction and relaxation of your cells. When you curl a dumbbell you are contracting and relaxing the cells in your bicep muscles. When you do a sit-up you are contracting and relaxing the cells of your abdominal muscles. This is how you strengthen and tone those areas. What if you came across an activity that would contract and relax every cell in your body simultaneously? That would be as close to perfect exercising as you could hope. That's exactly what Al Carter discovered about jumping on a trampoline. However there was a problem, actually several problems. Trampolines are quite large. Trampolines are designed for acrobatics. Trampolines are expensive.

His solution: Shrink the size of the trampoline. You could still receive all of the benefits of jumping on a trampoline on a much smaller, more manageable piece of equipment.

The benefits: By rebounding on a regular basis you strengthen and tone your ENTIRE body - inside and out. Every cell in your body benefits from the process of contraction and relaxation. You also greatly assist your lymph system in disposing of cellular waste through improved circulation.

The unforseen problem: Once Mr. Carter came up with the solution everybody and their brother started making rebounders. Problem was a lot of them were not of good quality - inferior springs, materials and frames. The result of using such equipment is unnecessary trauma to joints and possible injury. The exercise itself was still beneficial; the inferior equipment was not. When doing rebounding it is VERY important that the rebounder is of a high quality.

The Answer: The ReboundAIR™ is of the very highest quality.

Recommended usage: 20 minutes twice daily.
